Result description
The EIT Food S2M program facilitates collaboration between retailers and startups to develop and implement Proofs of Concept (PoCs) and innovative products. This program focuses on improving sustainability, reducing food waste, and optimizing the supply chain, aligning with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Currently, the S2M program is in the PoC implementation phase with several retailers and startups, such as Eroski and Migros. The next steps include expanding collaborations, scaling successful solutions, market new healthy products and promoting sustainability policies in the retail sector.
The model is scalable as it can be replicated in different regions and sectors, allowing more retailers and startups to benefit from collaboration and innovation
