Result description

The Network Application of UC4 collects the measurements from the PMUs installed in the field platforms. It consists of three main services:

  1. Virtual Phasor Data Concentrator – connects to the data streams of the PMUs and provides combined data stream to the Wide Area Monitoring and Advisory services.
  2. Wide Area Monitoring – provides visibility that is based on real-time data streamed from PhasorMeasurement Units (PMU)
  3. Advisory – provides alarms for real-time operation. It informs operators about the presence of network disturbances

Current stage description

The Network Application of UC4 has been successfully implemented. The Network Application of UC4 has been successfully onboarded and deployed to VIVACOM’s actual 5G cloud infrastructure using the Nearby Computing’s Network Application Controller. The installed Network Applications is accessible over the Internet. The videos of the Network Application for Use Case 4 has been provided.

Built with scalability in mind, the solution is capable of seamlessly handling expanding data and user requirements. By leveraging a cloud-based platform for application hosting, it provides the flexibility required to accommodate a growing number of users and diverse data streams.

Replicability

Our network application is extremely replicable. It can be customized to meet the unique requirements of each situation.
