Set of backend services and Web applications to integrate in applications for Cultural Heritage venues, providing tools to gather data about users (profiling services) and generate recommendations (recommender services) for Cultural Heritage venues and applications. The services are composable and the diversity of algorithms and variables they use allow the building of a large set of different kinds of personalisation in off-line contexts, which makes it different from the classical online offers. The profilers/recommenders cover a large spectrum of venue needs, spanning from the needs of large venues (e.g. allowing time management, smart routing, differentiation between single time users and returning visitors, etc), to smaller venues (e.g. personalisation based on user interests), to known and unknown ones (e.g. personalisation for experts and non-expert users, etc). Three pilots of CrossCult have clearly shown the value of those personalisation components, under different contexts (a big museum, a small museum, and multiple connected archaeological sites).

R&D, Technology and Innovation aspects
In its current state, the solution has been experimented in 3 pilots during the project. Currently it is exploited or being tested at the London National Gallery; at the archaeological museum of Tripolis and the sites of Epidaurus, GR; and at the Roman spas of Montegrotto Terme (IT), Lugo (SP), Chaves (PT).
