Result description

Game participants will learn how an ULL functions and how it can bring in city stakeholders together to fight a given climate challenge. The gamified approach aids creative thinking and helps challenge solvers to look at the problem from a different perspective / with a fresh set of eyes. By bringing together a diverse mix of participants, the game helps to break down barriers to communication through a storytelling approach.

We specifically need / are looking for

We are seeking partnerships to further develop the UrbanLiving Lab Playground game to different scenarios. The Urban Living Lab Playground game will be used to attract participants to ENoLL’s Capacity Building Program and as a tool in ENoLL’s training program for Living Labs.

Current stage description

The Urban Living Lab RoadMapping Toolkit is already being used in other EU and local projects. The resource is open access and publicly available. However, if it is going to be digitalized, several workshops with living lab experts can be held and the digital version may be developed accordingly. The toolkit can also be customized for other innovation types (other than NBS) such as digital innovation, educational innovation, etc.

We have CUSTOMERS from various different backgrounds such as Public Institutions and Authorities and from various BUSINESS SECTORS such as Climate action , Research and innovation .

The game can be used in its present form or readily adapted to different scenarios based on the specific interests of end-users.
