The GenB Toolkit for Multipliers provides stakeholders educational resources to promote bioeconomy among youth aged 4-19 in non-formal settings like museums, fairs, and youth centers. Available in over nine European languages, it includes gamified tools like “The Bio Race” board game for ages 9-13, focusing on bio-based production and circularity, and “Escape4Future,” an escape game for 13-19-year-olds with green chemistry challenges. Multimedia resources feature the “What’s Bioeconomy?” animated video, “Bio-Avventure” podcasts for family or informal education, and social media quizzes for teens. Training materials include a 25-hour MOOC, lesson plans, and three age-specific educational packages. Co-created with educators, youth, parents, science centers, and NGOs across Europe, the toolkit uses a hybrid engagement strategy, visual and digital approaches to suit diverse learning preferences and cultural contexts. This participatory methodology ensures scientific accuracy, creativity, and adaptability, making it a compelling resource for sustainability communication that extends beyond formal education and inspires broad societal engagement with bioeconomy principles.

The toolkit is easily replicable by adding new materials or translating it into various languages. Additionally, its learning format can be adapted to cover other educational topics, helping to engage a broader audience of children.
The GenB Toolkit is hosted on the project website, where it will remain without a deletion date.
