The thermocatalytic nanofiltration membrane is prepared by a simple coating procedure. The new membrane demonstrates the benefit of coupling the thermocatalytic perovskite nanoparticles with graphene oxide in terms of both CECs abatement and membrane processability. Our thermocatalytic membranes show selectivity and water permeability in the nanofiltration range. When used with a warm wastewater stream, the membranes can retain CECs and mitigate fouling. The membranes can be fabricated by a highly reproducible method, which does not require organic solvents in any step from the synthesis of the starting materials to the deposition of the filtering layer. Additionally, we provided experimental evidence of the low toxicity of the thermocatalytic material toward aquatic organisms. The membrane is ideal for the treatment of warm wastewater in different industries e,g., textile, tanneries, and mechanical industries.
