You are looking for a circular business in the automotive industry? We developed a whole ecosystem based on reusable components made of CFRP. Very important for this system is the strategy of disassembly that is different to standard vehicles.
The basic idea is to save emissions by making the most important parts of a vehicle reusable. We achieve this with CFRP parts providing the major stiffness and crash safety of the vehicle. To get back the components, we delivered a strategy for dismantling taking use of technologies like bolting connections and the novel detachable adhesives. Our strategy is ready to be exploitet by a dismantling or remanufacturing company.
We are using CNC wire saws to cut adhesive, we are losening bolts and we are taking use of a patented detachabale adhesive connection that is deactivated by an elevated temperature. All together creates a strategy do regain the most important and most expensive parts of the vehicle.

The system is enabling circular value chains for the automotive industry. A life cycle assesment delivered lower emissions and lower consumption of materials by reusing instead of producing new parts.
