The Pop-Machina Urban Development Framework provides advanced methods for urban analysis and planning for circular and regenerative cities through urban maker ecosystems. It has been implemented and tested in seven cities of different characteristics, where the value of the circular maker movement (environmental, social, and economic) has been highlighted and unused building stocks and problematic urban spaces were utilised and revitalised.

- Help in technical expertise
Share and disseminate knowledge in the form of an integrated methodology for the circular transition of EU cities. More specifically, this methodology aims to support the identification, selection and repurposing of appropriate underused spaces into circular makerspaces, and further organise makerspaces in the context of the cities’ spatial structures and infrastructure networks towards upscaling the cities’ urban regeneration dynamics.
