Result description
The project developed and applied new methodologies for measuring policy acceptance, using a proposed ban on factory-farmed meat advertisements on municipal billboards as a case study. The findings show how citizens evaluate policies based on fairness, perceived effectiveness, and trust. While many participants indicated they would accept or tolerate the proposed ban, concerns about its effectiveness and potential impacts on farmers were also evident. These results highlight the critical role of transparent communication and providing clear evidence of policy impact to ensure public support.
