iDistributedPV´s developed affordable integrated solutions to enhance the penetration of distributed solar PV (e.g. households/larger buildings/park areas) based on the effective integration of solar PV equipment, energy storage, monitoring and controlling strategies and procedures, active demand management, smart technologies and the integration of procedures in the power distribution system.

iDistributedPV´s presented the solutions for prosumers and the Prosumer Solution Simulation tool that performs technical and economic analysis regarding integration of photovoltaic systems into households, offices, industries and other types of buildings.

The tool evaluates the input parameters such as energy production, demand profile, characteristics of the system, hourly electricity price e.t.c., and determines whether the best option is self-consume the electricity generated, store it, sell it or buy energy from the grid to store it.
