In 2025, Climate KIC published its first set of Outcome Stories; an evaluation methodology that combines systems-informed MEL approaches with narrative techniques. The published stories include: Advancing the energy transition on Ukraine’s frontline, highlighting Climate KIC Academy’s programme for energy leaders in Rivne; Portfolio thinking shapes Slovenia’s green transition, showcasing how a portfolio approach supported policy, innovation projects and digital skills within the Ministry of Higher Education; Expanding participation in the future of Greece’s ports, demonstrating how Climate KIC’s partnership with Piraeus Port broadened stakeholder engagement in the maritime economy; and From small wins to big changes in sustainable city transport, illustrating how a small grant through the FedEx–Climate KIC partnership catalysed wider urban mobility shifts. We seek partnerships and funding to scale dissemination of Climate KIC’s Outcome Stories across European innovation ecosystems. Collaboration with climate-tech networks, innovation organisations and policy or education actors will help increase visibility for participating initiatives, attract new innovators, and strengthen engagement across the EIT entrepreneurship pipeline.
