Result description
The solutions focus on supporting targeted marine ecosystems unique to each site, ensuring minimal ecological disruption while enhancing native biodiversity. The floating substructure is engineered to integrate nature-inclusive design (NID) modules without compromising stability or structural integrity. The gravity anchor is scalable to local geotechnical conditions and designed to support artificial reef structures (ARS) that attract and sustain marine life. The scour protection system features armour layer gradings tailored to promote ecosystem recovery and species-specific colonization.
Addressing target audiences and expressing needs
- Collaboration
We’re seeking partners working with ocean tech investors, offshore wind developers, operators, consultants, and practitioners to help deploy our integrated floating wind solutions. As INF⁴INITY nears completion, we aim to bring our TLP floater, gravity anchor, and nature-inclusive scour protection with ARS to real-world projects. Join us to turn tested designs into commercial applications, reducing ecological risks and advancing sustainable offshore wind.

R&D, Technology and Innovation aspects
At this stage, floater and gravity anchor concepts with scour protection are ready for small-scale experiments. Hydrodynamic analysis of the floater is complete, and three NID anchor concepts are developed. Next steps include ARS design selection, anchor shortlisting, and experimental testing of both components.
INF⁴INITY’s approach ensures long-term sustainability by embedding ecological functionality directly into the core design of floating offshore wind infrastructure. By integrating nature-inclusive design features from the earliest stages, the system not only minimizes environmental impacts but actively enhances biodiversity in sensitive marine ecosystems. This ecosystem-centric strategy reduces regulatory risks and supports faster permitting, which improves project viability and reduces costs over time. Additionally, scalable designs tailored to site-specific conditions optimize resource use and structural longevity, ensuring economic and environmental sustainability. Overall, INF⁴INITY’s business model aligns commercial offshore wind development with ecological preservation, positioning it for resilient, long-term success.
