Result description
The workflow for the creation, calibration, testing and use of the metallic plate for 3D image-based models referencing is provided. It allows to receive the photogrammetric models of desirable accuracy up to 0.5 mm level. Such accuracy level has been used for technological research on the portable rock art objects. The solution can easily be adjusted or developed for larger objects of different configuration. Moreover, it remains up to 9 time cheaper then the known market analogies. The calibration and metric testing procedures are capable to improve the accuracy even more if needed.

R&D, Technology and Innovation aspects
The device is developed, tested and proved to be effective for the referencing of 3D models with submilimeter accuracy. Further improvement is needed to universalize the solution and apply it to different cultural heritage dataset. The practical solutions for the object design and productions are developed and tested.
The workflow for the creation of the metallic plate is replicable on any CNC machine that is able to trace the raw material. The metric calibration on a laser interferometer is required to assure the accuracy — is calibration is rather the common procedure and replicable wordwide.
