Result description

This result is a low-voltage aqueous Na-ion intercalation electrode/electrolyte configuration for battery-like thermal-charging cells. It uses matched sodiated/desodiated intercalation electrodes with an aqueous sodium electrolyte to enable stable ion storage and cycling within narrow voltage windows. The concept is designed for safe integration into thermally driven nanofluidic energy conversion and storage devices.

We are therefore seeking follow-on public/translational funding and technical partners who can help validate and mature the concept.
