The Inspection Process Management (IPM) application developed by ED:·    Orchestrates the entire inspection process and·    Orchestrates the users of the entire inspection process located in the control centre and on the field·    Facilitates the communication of the operators located in the control centre and the operators on the field. Flight plans and email notifications are exchanged.·    Helps the operator in the control centre to monitor the entire inspection process·    Contributes on the standardization of the entire inspection process, as the operators through the IPM follow specific steps for the quick and the detailed inspection of bridges and tunnels. The sequence of all these predefined steps can be assumed as a protocol for the inspection operation.The IPM application is designed according to the process flows of quick and detailed inspection in tunnels and bridgesThe processes are dynamically modelled and facilitate easy visualisation of the end-to-end inspection process they are serving. The process and roles can be easily reconfigured. This process keeps track of all actions and all agents involved and allocates them tasks when time comes. This Control operator has full visibility of the process and the agents are informed when they have a task to do.This is a unique idea that originates from factory automation first time demonstrated in the infrastructure inspection and monitoring domain.
