Result description
GoOpti has developed a system of smart organization of passenger transportation that makes travel affordable and efficient by using dynamic pricing and innovative reservation systems that pool people in vehicles based on their departure time flexibility and routing preferences. The innovation uses smart revenue management pricing based on self-learning probability models, which allows to execute the transportation profitably also on routes with scarcer demands and therefore poor connectivity.
Additionally, by providing better connections and making routes profitable also on medium and longer distances, it contributed to reducing the number of private vehicles on the road and thus carbon emissions.

GoOpti operates as a franchise business model; the main potential users are business owners and transport companies in small to mid-sized cities with relatively poor connections with the nearby airports and with the neighboring cities. Considering potential new markets, the most promises for a service expansion are in Eastern Europe, where there are larger issues with public transportation, but our scheme could be easily transferred in Western European countries as well.
