Result description
The toolbox for policy testing covers key Foresight approaches such as scenario planning, participatory policy design, and evaluation, supporting the structured and effective development of policy strategies oriented to foster societal resilience. In addition, the toolbox includes thematic instruments addressing societal based challenges, enabling users to explore specific issues (such as migration, disasters, education, health, food, and governance) through tailored analytical frameworks. These tools help users gain deeper insights into the dynamics of complex systems, evaluate potential interventions, and co-design responses that strengthen resilience. Finally, the toolbox includes policy tools providing guidance for different stakeholders in policy design, assessment and implementation.

We are looking to raise awareness on the potential of a toolbox for policy testing as it contributes to transform research insights into actionable solutions through a variety of methods, tools and guidelines that enable organisations to collaboratively create solutions for resilience – and beyond.
