Result description

The Key Exploitable Result is a Fact Sheet that describes key findings from the MacroFuels Horizon 2020 research and innovation project on seaweed-to-fuel value chains and macro-algae cultivation at larger scales. The Fact Sheet summarises the results of a social life cycle assessment performed by MacroFuels, considering data and inputs from various resources, including deliberative workshops with a specifically formed Citizen Panel. The Fact Sheet is available as download at the MacroFuels project website.

We specifically need / are looking for

We are looking for future seaweed cultivators, policy makers, international organisations and NGOs to take on board the key findings from our collaborative research, stakeholder inputs and the engagement with EU citizens to take informed decisions in establishing a sustainable seaweed industry in Europe with high social impacts, while minimising social risks.
