EO based WFD assessment for coastal and lake water bodies

Listing Description

Result description

The STATUS service provides both periodically aggregated statistics, time series and histograms of the distribution of Earth Observation and station sampling datasets over the water bodies. It currently covers information from over 2000 WFD water bodies in Finland (87% of the total area). STATUS is directly linked to the national water body information system and can currently be used by the authorities for WFD status assessment in Finland.
