Result description
MCS supported in the development of an emulator designed to generate synthetic data on a large scale and across multiple geographical areas. This emulator was instrumental in testing the envisioned technical solution for a STAMINA early-warning system. Without the emulator, acquiring such a significant volume of data and ensuring regional spread would have been extremely challenging within a reasonable timeframe. Moreover, the chosen approach allows the research team to evaluate the scalability of the proposed solution, ensuring its feasibility and effectiveness in real-world scenarios.
The solution is of high relevance to further pandemic and environmental research work of MCS in that different scenarious can be assessed in short time and at higher accuracy. This in turn, in the long run, can lead to new technical solutions at MCS.
Results indicate that the emulator is a powerful tool that can be further exploited in research before it eventually might become a solution ready for commercialization. Its strength lies in the adaptability to different market segments and even industries.

While having achieved an advanced stage for the emulator, further work needs to be done to make the emulator part of future product and service offers. The solution has to be adapted and tested in projects that relate to MCS most relevant target groups. As such, one of the very next steps is to include the research result in the MCS’ marketing kit and present to customers.
