e-SAFE Integrated Retrofit System

Result description

e-SAFE is an integrated retrofit system for non-historic reinforced-concrete buildings. It combines prefabricated external components, energy renovation solutions, seismic upgrading strategies and user-centred implementation methods in order to reduce energy consumption, improve safety and minimize disruption during works. The system was demonstrated through one real pilot and additional virtual pilots and is suitable for replication in earthquake-prone areas with ageing building stock.
