This innovative result enables the identification of thousands of biomarkers via the analyses of cell-free extracellular RNAs (eRNAs) in biofluids and their carriers. eRNA signatures allow the prediction of alterations in cell- and organ function across the body and facilitate disease progression monitoring. They help healthcare professionals improve diagnostics, patient care and mitigate diseases consequences, reduce treatment costs and transform precision medicine for better public health.
