Result description

This KER involves the ability of MyGearTag to detect cetaceans with a view to reducing bycatch. The cetacean detection identifies marine mammals that use echolocation or distinctive whistle-like calls to communicate (e.g. dolphins, porpoises, whales). The range of the cetacean detection can be > 2km depending on the cetacean species/behaviour.
