These CUPS are based on commercial SiC filters for diesel engines by LIQ (formerly Cometas) and deliver a super strong and super thermally conductive SiC honeycomb structure. The design has been upgraded to create a recrystallized SiC monolithic component by a special joining of SiC at 2200°C.
