Result description
The geobased survey application has extended the functionality of the OpenRemote 100% open source IoT device management platform. The platform now also enables connectivity to mobile devices. Mobile devices can be used both as sensors (eg. monitor it’s location, or use the QR code reader) as well as actors (eg. send a push notification to users).

Licensing and SLA’s
As the platform is generic in it’s functionality and published open source, it’s application is replicable in a wide range of applications. Just a few examples are agriculture, energy, power, industrial machine monitoring, mobility, or border control.
It needs scaling to remain competitive with larger scal providers.
