Scope

• Development of a breakthrough propulsion system for rotorcraft platforms.
• Engine power above 3.000 shp / 2.237 kW to close the current technological gap.
• Significant improvement in efficiency and performance compared to existing engines.
• Integration with rotorcraft architectures to ensure compatibility and enhanced capabilities.
• Operation in harsh environments (sand, dust, maritime, ice, snow, water, wide temperature range).
• Support for conventional fuels, Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAF), and lower quality fuels.
• Advanced fuel system, control and monitoring system, and potential AI-based diagnostics.
• Reduction of life cycle costs and improved maintainability through simplified design and predictive maintenance tools.
• Use of green technologies to lower CO2 emissions and improve sustainability.
• Synergies with ongoing defense rotorcraft programs ensuring consistency between engine and rotorcraft design.
