- Validation of a scalable and modular AESA design adaptable to multiple platforms

- Increased resilience against electronic countermeasures and jamming
- Strengthened EU strategic autonomy in defence technology
- A clear roadmap for further technology development and integration
- A foundation for future collaborative defence projects within the EU

Scope

- Demonstrate essential elements for future EU naval radar systems
- Intelligent electromagnetic spectrum management in congested environments
- Integration of multiband radar capabilities covering at least one decade of frequency bands
- Development of bidirectional communication links for weapon and effector datalinks
- Full integration of the system in a combat management system with cooperative sensor networking
- Autonomous system operation with optimized cognitive capabilities
- Detailed design and simulation of both hardware (multiband AESA antenna) and software (digital twin and performance modeling)
- Testing in controlled environments with the possibility of further validation in relevant operational scenarios
- Emphasis on scalability, modularity, and interoperability across different platforms
- Address challenges related to jamming, low RCS targets, and electronic countermeasures
