Integration of human driving behaviour in the validation of CCAM systems

This call aims to develop validated human behavioral models representing the variety of human driving behavior in safety-relevant scenarios. These models will be used to define assessment criteria for CCAM systems in type approval schemes, consumer testing campaigns, and industrial development processes. Projects should focus on calibrating and validating models to represent driver behavior in a multitude of safety-critical scenarios, considering factors like road infrastructure, vehicle types, traffic conditions, regional influences, and driver demographics. Integration of these models into virtual safety validation approaches is essential to realistically represent human-driven vehicles in mixed traffic simulations.
