The goal is to support approximately 110,000 SMEs per year in bringing new products or processes to the market, thereby contributing significantly to economic growth.

The program provides Innovation Vouchers, which cover 50% of the costs for consulting services conducted by authorized consulting firms. The two-stage consulting model includes a potential analysis and the development of an implementation concept.

In Stage 1, the potential analysis covers:
- Strengths and weaknesses profile of the company related to the innovation project
- Market feasibility assessment
- Estimated capacity needs
- Financing plan, including integration of public funding sources
- Success likelihood assessment

Stage 2, the implementation concept, includes:
- Technological evaluation based on market insights
- Identification of suitable external technology providers
- Detailed implementation roadmap
- Facilitation of cooperation with technology providers
- Inclusion of public funding opportunities
- Support with meetings involving banks or venture capital firms
- Innovation workshops
- Capacity-building for innovation management

The program is specifically tailored for SMEs lacking internal know-how on managing innovation projects and aims to foster sustainable competitiveness, market expansion, and customer acquisition.
