• Better understanding of the real estate and rental markets, including their social impacts on rural communities.
• Availability of new solutions and strategies for improving access to affordable and quality housing.
• Implementation of affordable, sustainable, and replicable solutions for sustainable houses and villages of the future.

Scope

• Analyse the real estate and rental markets in rural areas, including short-term and long-term rentals, and evaluate housing quality and housing poverty.
• Contribute to increasing data availability related to rural settlement structures and abandoned units.
• Increase understanding of affordable housing access and social housing in rural areas, considering financial and social aspects.
• Provide policy recommendations on regulating real estate and rental markets and promoting sustainable housing construction.
• Run participatory processes to identify sustainable, affordable, and replicable housing solutions, considering environmental, economic, and social factors.
