The Brandenburg-Kredit Transformationsfinanzierung Infrastruktur is a financing program provided by the Investitionsbank des Landes Brandenburg (ILB) to support infrastructure investments aligned with the energy strategy of the federal state of Brandenburg. The focus is on promoting sustainable and CO2-reducing infrastructure transformation projects that are in the general public interest but are not directly implemented by municipalities.

This loan program is open to public utilities, energy sector companies, and other enterprises engaged in infrastructure-related transformation activities. Funding is provided for a wide range of measures including renewable energy generation (e.g., wind, solar, geothermal), distribution (e.g., heat/cooling or hydrogen networks), storage, and conversion technologies (e.g., electrolysis). Additional eligible investments include environmental protection projects, acquisition of infrastructure (e.g., utility shares or facilities), and modernization initiatives.

The program offers loans of up to 100% financing with flexible terms:
- Loan duration: 1 to 30 years
- Interest rate fixation: usually up to 10 years
- Disbursement: up to 100%
- Interest and principal payments: quarterly in arrears
- Commitment fee: 0.25% per month after the agreed start of disbursement

Credit conditions are individually negotiated between the company, ILB, and where applicable, a consortium leader or house bank. While the application can be submitted informally by the applicant or their house bank, there is no legal entitlement to funding.

The objective is to accelerate Brandenburg's energy transition through sustainable infrastructure and to enable long-term economic and environmental benefits.
