Result description
REMIRAS guides the user through a specific operation on any object, like production quality control or machine maintenance, using Mixed Reality (MR). The peculiarity is that the software precisely recognizes the object from a 3D model, allowing for indications and buttons to be accurately projected on the piece.
Additionally, an expert user can remotely guide the field technician in the operation, seeing the exact same MR view. During their conversation the expert places MR indications directly on the object.
The expert’s computer interface can also be replaced with a Virtual Reality interface containing a digital twin of the object and its environment, while the technician maintains the Mixed Reality interface at the real machine or device. This way, the expert can perform any operation in Virtual Reality and the field technician will see it drawn on the specific parts of the real object.
