The ELASTIC software architecture is the framework that glues together all the software innovations of ELASTIC, providing the features needed to implement advanced mobility applications.

Current stage description

Current stage: The ELASTIC software framework facilitates the development, deployment and execution of applications based on complex data-analytics workflows (including AI and big-data methods) targeting edge/fog/cloud computing environments.

Next stage:  Exploit the implemented analytics workflow and scheduling elasticity policies in other smart city scenarios, e.g., in the city of Barcelona. Leverage the existing infrastructure in Florence to develop additional capabilities, if possible.
