Development of an overall platform-of-platforms, with user-friendly interfaces for continuous monitoring of system parameters (e.g., from temperature and pressure sensors in valves), and visualization of the above services are being developed. Users will be able to create and schedule maintenance tasks, and access predictive maintenance reports generated by AI. This will allow for highly visual remote monitoring and simplify the process of scheduling maintenance trips and tasks on site.
This platform can be used in the planning and the operation phase (monitoring and maintenance).

The product is already being sold by IDP, though the platform is still in development to integrate more tools. Currently at TRL 6, its use requires consulting, data collection, and custom API integration. Significant R&D is needed for robustness. IDP aims to standardize BIM-GIS modelling, improving data storage, interoperability, and exchange while gaining experience through diverse projects.
The digital twin platform is fully replicable, allowing complete energy system simulations to be executed automatically. The ENCOORD add-on, integrated within the platform, is also entirely replicable without limitations. However, while the GET add-on can also be replicated, its implementation may be constrained by human capacity.
IDP ensures long-term sustainability by delivering value to stakeholders, society, and the environment. Its evolving BIM-GIS platform, IDP Twin, provides tailored solutions for facility managers, urban developers, and ESCOs, enhancing data interoperability and optimizing design and operations. The platform supports sustainable urban planning by improving energy efficiency in infrastructures, cities, and grids, reducing carbon footprints.
IDP fosters smart city development by enabling collaboration, promoting knowledge-sharing, and improving decision-making in infrastructure projects. Through workshops and EU-funded research, it drives digital transformation and urban planning best practices.
By enhancing its platform, engaging in collaborations, and promoting sustainability, IDP strengthens its market position. Partnering with HYPERGRYD tool providers ENCOORD and GET expands outreach to energy system integration and district heating optimization, improving financial sustainability.
