MASLOWATEN has implemented a new product called Smart PV pumping systems for productive irrigation applications, consuming 30% less water and zero conventional energy, saving between 50% and 75% in energy costs.
The Maslowaten solution integrated 5 large-scale first market application PV pumping systems with low water consumption systems. The solution makes this integration using automatisms, ICT solutions and precision agriculture techniques. This allows to integrate in just one market solution the reduction in energy and water consumption. The cost reduction linked to the large-scale PV pumping systems incentives the use of the systems for efficient use of water.

The Maslowaten project has proven the technical and economical viability of the high power photovoltaic irrigation or pumping solution, reducing the water consumption and has started the market uptake providing technical standards ready to be included in contractual frameworks as well as design and simulation tools to guarantee its economical return in project finance frameworks.
