The metaverse control room has been positively tested in a simulated environment along with 18 agents from different safety and security forces, who also suggested a few improvements. We estimate that the TRL level is currently 6, since further effort is needed to test the App in different situations and adapt it to the communications and operational protocols of local agencies. Furthermore the aspect of security, presently implemented only via password needs to be upgraded, as is the introduction of AI to monitor images and videos detecting anomalies and predicting optimized scenarios.

Currently the invention has been demonstrated in one app but there will be a need of more effort to test it in other situations, introduce more robust security solutions and AI for monitoring and prediction.

Many municipalities in Europe and beyond could benefit for this innovation which would make safety and security interventions more efficient and effective.

The system is replicable although it would require software development to adapt it to the communication and operational protocols of the municipality’s safety and security agencies as well as to the available hardware.
