The objective of this KER is to deliver a fully operational distributed fiber optic sensing (DFOS) system capable of continuous, real time and long-distance hydrogen leak monitoring. Through the laboratory and pilot scale validation campaigns carried out, the technology has achieved a high TRL in representative environments, showing good performance. The positive results confirm that the DFOS solution is ready for early industrial deployment for this use case.
