Production of almost 1 L SAF via Take-off technology chain

Result description

In TAKE-OFF, almost 1 L e-SAF Sample has been produced and tested for its physical properties. This fuel sample satisfied the physical property requirements for certification and demonstrated reduced environmental impact compared to conventional jet fuel. The fuel produces four times less soot than conventional fuel. Next to this, there is no Sulphur present in the e-SAF produced via the TAKE-OFF route.

We specifically need / are looking for

We have shown that SAF can be produced in the TAKE-off route and the fuel physical properties are meeting the requirements. Working at small scale, almost one liter of fuel was produced. For certification, larger amounts are required. We are looking for opportunities to further develop the technology and work towards a pilot plant.
