Advanced water source heat pumps of high efficiency (Eurovent class A); R410A refrigerant; Tandem compressors with superior isentropic efficiency driven by motors of high efficiency; Externally reversible by four 3-way valves, so that heat exchangers are always in counter-flow for high efficiency during both cooling and heating; Smooth system start-up; Innovative system controls synchronizing BHE pump, heat pump compressor and water distribution pump.
Test carried out according to EN 14511 showed:
The 1st prototype has capacity 26.3 kW, SCOP=6.2 and SEER=7.3
The 2nd prototype has capacity 62.5 kW, SCOP=5.9 and SEER 6.7
The 3rd prototype has capacity 70.4 kW, SCOP=5.9 and SEER 6.7

R&D, Technology and Innovation aspects
Recently introduced regulations on F-gases will make these prototypes obsolete in the next years. Technology adaptation with new low GWP refrigerants is necessary.
