The FCHgo educational toolkit comprises the following materials.
For kids, age 8-13:
- A set of playing cards, allowing to apply the domino principle to energy processes
- “Energy” roleplays, letting kids explore energy chains through play
- A storybook conveying the nature of energy through narrative and pictures
- An animation illustrating the generation and transfer of energy, using imaginative metaphors
- Guidelines for simple Experiments
For youngsters, age 14-18:
- PowerPoint Presentations about climate change, the challenges of the energy transition, hydrogen and fuel cells technologies and their use and application in industry
- Experimental kits for hands-on experience
- Process diagrams for translating and illustrating energy chains
The teaching materials of the toolkit were jointly developed by FCHgo partners together with teachers, didactic and FCH tech experts.

We are looking for schools and teachers who are interested to implement and test the FCHgo educational toolkit in class. And we invite pupils together with their teachers and parents to participate to the FCHgo international award ‘World of the Future: The Best FCH- Application”. Creative projects around a future application of hydrogen for our daily-life are sought in this contest. Industry stakeholders are called to support pupils with technical knowledge and to sponsor prizes and award ceremonies.
