Result description
i.LECO has deployed the Layered Energy System (LES) concept and provided a dashboard for Woerden residents. LES is a future-compatible support policy that enables renewable energy and flexibility trade via a local market. The user dashboard shows the operation of the local market, incentivizes user participation via a gamified platform, and provides actionable tips to reduce overall electricity costs of residents in a local community.

1. Continue enhancing i.LECO’s user dashboard
2. Deploy the LES concept to other communities. Currently one community is on the way with 3 others scheduled for 2021.
i.LECO’s blockchain-based services are developed with scalability and replicability in mind. i.LECO is participating in other EU projects with multiple new pilot locations with hundreds of residents.
The developed local energy community dashboard and services are already being replicated to other EU communities as part of ongoing EU projects.
i.LECO believes in a fully sustainable energy society. Our aim is to enable economic and ecological value for all people and companies. We aim to acieve this by collaborating with other (channel) partners via tenders, EU proposals and commercial deals. There are currently ongoing efforts in all these three directions. i.LECO is currently in a growth phase, catering to the increasing market demand for our products and services.
