Result description
The face validity of the Back-UP first contact web app was tested in 176 clinicians from 13 countries across Europe. Their experiences provided wide-ranging feedback on the usability and acceptability of the web app, but with less than 10% indicating they found care plan, individualised predictions, or anonymised summary data (My Statistics) unhelpful. Apart from improving the functionality of the web app, results suggest further tailoring is needed to increase the acceptability of matched treatment options across Europe. 48 patients from 6 countries also provided feedback on the care plan produced by the web app, with 83-88% reporting this to be helpful. Based on this clinical feedback multiple recommendations were made to improve the technology.

R&D, Technology and Innovation aspects
The next step is to now embed the Back-UP technology within routine medical record systems across Europe. The technology can then be evaluated within a routine clinical situation to determine its impact on clinical decision-making and patient outcome and experiences.
