A new generation of coloured foil was optimized and qualified for large-area BIPV modules integration. This technology enables for colouring PV modules with excellent aesthetic achievement (different colours, high uniformity even for the foil implemented inside the PV module), high performance (minimzed impact on PV module performance) and high reliability (conservation of module power and of colour rendering). This new technology enables for a cost down and ease of manufacturing for coloured BIPV modules.

This new colouring tehcnology can be directly integrated inside the PV module during the manufacturing to enhance the aesthetics of the BIPV modules. The colouring of the module can therefore be made on-site with high versatility and fast response to end-users demands, with minimized logistics costs and materials costs to achieve cost-effective coloured BIPV modules.
