Fiware4Water architecture can be deployed to any system water management. It offers a library of functionalities allowing to improvement of any existing system already in place with seamless integration

Our interest is the use of open source, open APIs technology based on FIWARE to facilitate the integration and use of Digital Data in the Water sector with the idea of develop new services and integrate with third parties in a easy way and prevent vendor lock-in.

The current reference architecture has been tested in the deployment of several use cases asspciated to the Fiware4Water project suscesfully and it was the base architecture for the recently created FIWARE Smart Water Domain Committee to evolve the architecture together with the FIWARE Community.
The Fiware4Water architecture can be replicated in whatever solution that you want to put in practice doing the proper installation of the open source components and configuration of them. There is no vendor locking, no propietary APIs, it is free for use.
This is an open source solution. The sustainability is based on the open source community behind the components.
