A semantic data harmonization framework with the following components:
(1) The semantic common data model (SCDM)
(2) A data transformation pipeline
(3) A semantic query system.
Addressing target audiences and expressing needs
- To raise awareness and possibly influence policy
- Business partners – SMEs, Entrepreneurs, Large Corporations
- Collaboration
We look for collaborating with partners aiming at providing semantic interoperability across healthcare information systems and advanced healthcare data exploitation
Our methodology and results can be used to inform policy makers about best practices for data sharing and semantic interoperability
We also look for public or private funding collaborations interested in further developing and implementing our infrastructure into a larger scale
- EU and Member State Policy-makers
- Other Actors who can help us fulfil our market potential
- Research and Technology Organisations
R&D, Technology and Innovation aspects
The semantic harmonization framework has been successfully implemented within the project for harmonizing several datasets. Further developments include the development of tools to facilitate data mapping to ontologies, the further development of the semantic query system, the implementation of semantic interoperability with other standards such as HL7 FHIR, the further exploitation of graph-based data using graph-based algorithms as well as the implementation of the framework at a larger scale.
