Result description
NNG developed an infrastructure based software to provide a map streaming service containing static and dynamic data elements following industry standards. It is providing high precision road damage information referenced against a HD base map for different stakeholders such as road operators for road maintenance operations and for vehicles through different bearers (cellular, DSRC) and different protocol stacks (TPEG2, C-ITS, NDS.Live).

The Map streaming platform is ready but there are some gaps which needs to be addressed before the data delivery can reach consumer maturity: interoperable, standardized raod damage definition and classification
The result is based on standardised static and dynamic data definition and protocol stacks. Interoperability is a key element of the service industry which is based on standards. Proprietary systems are not sustainable for mass deployment.
