- Design, develop and test a demonstrator of a European Fighter MIDS terminal with an innovative Software Communication Architecture (SCA)
- Ensure secure and high data rate transmission in hostile ECM environments
- Integrate multiple information sources such as surveillance, support, and intelligence in real time
- Provide mobile platforms with relative navigation capabilities within a common reference grid
- Enable identification through dissemination of crypto-secure position, velocity, and identity data
- Support Link 16 communications and tactical data exchanges between host systems and platforms
- Incorporate future airborne stealth waveform capabilities and growth potential
- Address mechanical, thermal, and security constraints in design and integration
- Validate system functions and electronic warfare performance through laboratory testing
- Perform risk reduction activities including feasibility studies, configuration setup, and life-cycle-cost analysis
